Face-to-face counselling in Knowle and Solihull or online counselling nationwide

My practice is based in Knowle, Solihull, where you can experience face-to-face sessions in a calm and peaceful setting or you may opt for UK-wide phone or online sessions via Zoom, offering you the flexibility to tailor your counselling to suit your lifestyle or geographical area. I work on Monday evenings, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Support for your mental health

I offer you a safe, supportive and confidential space to explore any issues you are facing, without feeling judged. Whilst you may not know what has led you to feel how you do, by embracing the possibility of change in your life, you’ve recognised that counselling might be right for you. I’m here to help and support you.

I came to counselling later in life, wanting to make a difference to people’s lives and give back to others. Several years of counselling training, after having spent 30 years in a professional career whilst managing family and home life, mean I can bring you a wealth of experience of life and the difficulties that we all sometimes face.

Successful counselling often relies on the quality of the relationship between you and your counsellor, so I aim to make you feel welcome and cared for and above all that I'm in your corner.

My practice was founded on this basis….to allow you the time and space to develop a better understanding of yourself and your needs whilst being supported to find a way forward that is right for you.

I work solely with individuals on a 1:1 basis.

Some of the issues I work with include:

  •       Anxiety and depression

  •       Bereavement and loss

  •       Domestic violence and sexual abuse

  •       Health-related issues

  •       Life transitions

  •       Low self-esteem and self-confidence

  •       Relationship challenges, past and present

  •       Stress and worry

  •       Trauma

  •       Women’s issues, including menopause

  • Workplace issues
